Looking for some random things to do? Well check out my list of my highly recommended stops in Sedona Arizona!

Hike the infamous Devil’s Bridge

This hike is extremely popular, so if you are traveling during the high season, be prepared to start during Civil Twilight or earlier. The hike takes about an hour and a half. If you start late, you will stand in line to take pictures on the bridge. I have heard stories where individuals have stood in line for almost an hour.

Pink Jeep Tour Flagstaff View

Take a Pink Jeep Tour

The Pink Jeep Tours are fun and a popular attraction in Sedona! The tours provide tons of information about the history of Sedona and all of its terrain. Pink Jeep offers a handful of different tour options, depending on the adventure you are searching. The most popular tour is the Broken Arrow Tour. It is known for its bumpy terrain and steep rock stairs. As a bonus, they offer tours to the Grand Canyon as well.

Because I went during the Rafael Wildfire, the tours were adjusted to avoid the Coconino National Forest. Our tour drove us up 7,000 ft toward the Flagstaff area, The image above is a view from the top.

Slide rock state park

Explore Slide Rock State Park

I could not visit Slide Rock State because of the Forest closures, but I have heard so many positive remarks about this location! This is also a favorite spot among locals as well, so visit early in order to secure parking.

Some say that the water is extremely refreshing, since it flows from the mountains. But be sure to wear a good grip sandal, as the rocks are extremely slippery.

Hike Red Rock State Park

These trails are great if you are looking for a lighter hike. I would recommend these trails for families with little kids. There are about 5 trails that are offered.

I  hiked the Eagle’s Nest Trail, and it took about an hour and a half. The trail includes an upward incline with multiple scenic overlooks. If you hike this trail, I recommend having your camera handy!

Global Candle Gallery shop

Visit the Sedona Candle Gallery

This shop is really cool to just walk through. Grab a candle, hold it up in the light and watch it glow! There are so many to see, so walk through the aisles and see if any grab your attention.

If you’re looking for a souvenir, you can also have a custom candle made to take home with you!

Have Dinner at the Mesa Grill

If you’re looking for good food and a restaurant with an amazing view, then Mesa Grill Sedona is the perfect spot! The restaurant is on a peak right across from the Sedona Airport. For dinner, give the ribs and the house made chips a try! The blackened salmon is also a house favorite as well.

After your dinner, grab a drink and sit on the outside patio, if the weather is nice. Watch as the planes and helicopters arrive and depart.
