Frequently Asked Questions

I rely on a handful of sites to plan my trips!

– For finding popular hotels in the area, I use Bookings.com.

– For flights, I use Google Flights and Hopper.

– For restaurants, I search the town/place on Instagram and look up tags from others.

– For activities and things to do, I use Viator!

Yes! Travelers burnout is real! Prioritizing your mental health is very important, so whenever I do find myself starting to feel burnout, I will either dial back on my traveling or try to go on a wellness vacation. Usually on these types of trips, I will find a beach town or someplace near water, where I can easily just relax.

Fortunately, I am able to work remote, so it helps with my ability to travel more frequently. I can pick a location and work in that area for that week without taking time off. However, when planning destination trips, I do try to plan them on the tail or front end of the weekend in order to use less PTO. For example, for a 4 day trip, I will take off either the Thursday and Friday or Monday and Tuesday. That way I only use 2 days PTO, but still can get away for a short amount of time.

My go to  program for editing my photos is Lightroom. When editing Video content I use DaVinci Resolve.

Asos and Missguided! These shops are great for finding bright colored dresses that help to make your travel photos pop!

The price range for my trips differ depending on the location and timing. Typically if it is a local day trip, I can keep it between $50 -$100. If I am traveling to a destination, my trips can range from $800-$3,000. This includes airfare, hotel and onsite transportation. One of my goals for this blog is to tackle traveling at different price points, so be on the lookout for those articles! 🙂
